How I work across the stack

These areas reflect the kinds of product and engineering work shown in my project case studies and technical notes.

Frontend Engineering & Interactive Applications

I build interfaces for workflows where people need to work with complex records and see how their changes affect the product. In an AV design suite, I worked on React Flow editors for floor plans, signal diagrams, and racks that share equipment data. In CRM, I worked on form and landing-page builders, configurable modules, and entity timelines. I also built the React interface for audio recording and transcript review.

Backend Engineering & Distributed Systems

My backend work spans Node.js services, REST APIs, integrations, and asynchronous workflows. I have worked on CRM modules and enterprise integrations, server-side availability checks for reservations, and a vendor-pricing pipeline that sends spreadsheet content through LLM extraction and validation. I also use Python and FastAPI in AI-enabled application work.

AI Engineering & Agentic Workflows

I work with LLM integrations and AI-assisted product workflows, including contextual summaries, vendor-price extraction, and audio transcription interfaces. My engineering focus is on connecting model output to useful product context, validating structured results, and providing a review path when information is missing or uncertain. My broader toolkit includes RAG and agentic workflows.

Database Engineering & Performance

My data work covers relational and NoSQL stores, query tuning, caching, and time-series activity. In CRM, I used TimescaleDB to store and query user activity for entity histories and timelines, and worked on PostgreSQL query improvements. Vendor pricing work connects reviewed data with vendor catalogs and project estimates. I focus on keeping data useful to the workflows that depend on it.

AI-Augmented Software Engineering

I use AI as an engineering assistant across the software lifecycle, from understanding an existing codebase to reviewing and validating a change. AI can help explore options, draft implementation, investigate failures, and suggest tests. I make the technical decisions, inspect the resulting code, and verify that it behaves correctly before it is delivered.
